Optique Eye Care | Eye Wear will host its Annual Trunk Show and Grand Opening today, Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at its new Nashville location. The one-day event will mark the official opening of the practice’s new office while giving patients and guests the opportunity to explore complete frame collections from Tom Ford and Etnia Barcelona.

The combined celebration brings together Optique’s focus on personalized eye care, designer eyewear, and a community gathering that has become an annual tradition for the practice. Attendees will have the chance to tour the new office, attend an official ribbon cutting, and meet the practice’s doctors in person.

Throughout the day, guests will be able to view the full lines offered by two notable frame companies rather than the limited selections typically available in standard retail settings. The format gives members of the Nashville community direct access to designer collections while connecting with the doctors who provide care at the practice.

“This is, by far, the most fun event we host each year. Giving our customers a chance to shop the entire lines of some very cool frame companies while offering significant discounts- what could be better?” said Dr. Michele Sonsino of Optique.

The practice will also recognize its two decades of service to the Nashville area during the event. The grand opening component adds a milestone element to a gathering that has historically centered on frame selection and designer collections.

“This year’s event is special in that we will be having a grand opening event in tandem with our trunk show, offering tours of the new office as well as an official ribbon cutting. We are extremely grateful to Nashville for supporting our practice for the last 20 years. This is our chance to celebrate with our patients and customers,” said Dr. Jeffrey Sonsino.

During the event, guests can receive 20 percent to 100 percent off frames by selecting a balloon to reveal their discount. The promotion applies with the purchase of lenses and excludes insurance purchases. The format allows each attendee to learn their individual discount at the time of the event.

The gathering will feature the practice’s doctors, including Dr. Michele Sonsino, Dr. Jeffrey Sonsino, Dr. Aishwarya Pillai, and Dr. Zachary Reynard. Their presence gives patients and guests the opportunity to meet the care team while exploring the available collections.
